This is my maternal grandmother’s cousin, Soghomon Tehlirian.  He killed Talaat Pasha for his role in the Armenian Genocide in Berlin in 1921.  Remembering the Genocide 97 years later.

I remember looking up Tehlirian  when I read Arendt’s Eichmann in Jerusalem for the first time. 

Today is Armenian Genocide Remembrance Day. 

There are so, so many things I want to talk about suddenly.
