This is pretty much all you need to know:

Also read Hajime No Ippo because that is the most precious goddamn comic about boxing ever.

And that’s about it! :D

Canastota, NY! Home of the Intl. Boxing Hall of Fame! What a quality photo.
Did I mention I went to the IBHOF over the weekend? Now you know!

Look at this crazy old boxing tech!

CompuBox! Is it not flippin’ adorable?

Oh snap! It’s the original ring from Madison Square Garden on which dozens of famous bouts were fought, including Ali-Frazier!
Aaand that’s it! I really enjoyed it, everything was super cool, and the staff were super nice! :)
IT’S THIS CHAMP

I have tiny tiny hands, and I think that’s why when I draw hands they without fail are the hands of miniature Irish cherubim. :( I try.
Oh Corel Painter… perhaps our relationship truly is without hope.

Some sketches of late! I spilled water and then dropped this sketchbook in the water which is why it’s rather wrinkly. :T
Manny Pacquiao’s promoter Bob Arum admits he is concerned by the Filipino’s recent comments ahead of his June battle with Timothy Bradley.
WBO welterweight champion Pacquiao said earlier this week that he “will not stay long in boxing” having been given a message from God in a dream, whichurged him to retire.
“I am worried a bit because these are the things you don’t say when preparing for a fight,” Arum said to the Manila Bulletin. “He will retire in 2013.”
The promoter’s remarks are on a similar theme to those made by trainer Freddie Roach after Pacquiao’s victory over Juan Manuel Marquez last year. Following Pacquiao’s too-close-for-comfort win, Roach revealed he felt that Pacquiao had been distracted during his preparations.
Arum is understood to have planned at least three more bouts for Pacquiao before he does hang up his gloves: a fourth battle with Marquez appears likely, while fans worldwide will hope to finally see Floyd Mayweather Jnr and Pacquiao do battle for the title of pound-for-pound king.
Aww good for you dude! :’D DO YOUR THANG.
I was gonna reblog this whole huge thing and add commentary but probs you guys following this blog aren’t interested.
But in all seriousness I am sick and tired of all the bullshit happening in pro boxing right now. If The RING prints one more article of conjecture about Whether Pacquiao-Mayweather Will Happen, so help me… And I definitely want to hear more about promoters squabbling over money and the sizes of their phalli — this just in! Another fight cancelled because capital comes before what actually brings in the capital! Stop the fucking presses!

It’s exhausting. Boxing is an intensely articulate and human sport; obviously it’s well past its heyday; promoters and promotion companies are its infrastructural lifeline. But.
Come on ya’ll! I am tired of this nonsense and would just like to watch Arthur Abraham fights on cable for once. :(
okay done now
